I particularly like this card with it's people busy about their daily lives. The carts remind me of things my Aunt Jean told me after I moved to Heybridge in 1971. As a teenager her father John Veitch took her from Goldhanger to Maldon in a cart and she remembered negociating Maldon's steep Market Hill. Coastguard John served at Goldhanger before moving to Burnham in 1904.
