DAY IN HISTORIC LUDLOW

Meet at Oak Street Car Park 8.30am
Travel in members cars - Est. 45 miles (1hr 10min driving)
£10 Adult - £8 Children (Includes all Guide & Entrance Fees)

Ludlow Visit Outline

Set off from Oswestry Oak St. Car Park at 8.30am

Travel to Ludlow by car. Around Ludlow keep on the A49 until you reach the turn off to the Park and Ride Car Park (buses every 15 minutes to town centre). Cost of bus ride will be 50p per person (Concessionary National Bus Pass holders free – so if you qualify and have not got one yet you should have time before 21st June! – I understand they are valid for all other Park and Rides across England) Bus drops off at the Assembly Rooms

10.30 am - Gather at Castle Entrance to meet our guide for a Castle tour.

12 – 2 pm – Time to have lunch and maybe visit the refurbished Ludlow Museum (Entrance Free)

2 pm – Gather by the big cannon outside the Castle where we meet our guide/s for a walk around the town (Approx. 1½ hr.)

3.30 pm – Meet at the Ludlow Library for a special tour of the Shropshire Museum Resource Centre

5.0 pm – End of the day's organised activities.

Castle and town walks have been changed around to suit our Castle guide
